Our 2013-14 season; “Experience the OSO” will be filled with exciting music and outstanding guest artists. We open with world-class trumpeter Allen Vizzutti and continue with Puccini’s “La Boheme”, with the Kentucky Opera and our outstanding OSO musicians! Throughout the season you will be treated to a great mix of outstanding masterworks that include Hanson’s Symphony #2 “Romantic”, Dvorak’s “New World Symphony”, Ravel-La Valse and Debussy-La Mer. We will feature the Kentucky premiere of a new work “Two Brothers” by Jim Stephenson about brothers fighting on opposing sides during the Civil War and a Pops concert with Jeans and Classics presenting the music of Motown in our new Owensboro Convention Center!
