Owensboro, KY – The Owensboro Symphony’s annual Home for the Holidays concert is set for Saturday December 9, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the RiverPark Center. The holiday program will feature some of the most spectacular sounds of the season with traditional favorites and fresh new works, including selections from Home Alone,A Christmas Carol and It’s A Wonderful Life.

“There’s nothing quite like our annual holiday concert. As patrons make their way into the RiverPark Center, you can sense their excitement building. By the end of the night, everyone is sure to be in the Christmas spirit,” said Owensboro Symphony’s CEO Gwyn Payne.

Throughout the concert, the audience will enjoy a performance by baritone Tevin Vincent with a special guest appearance by Jenny Beth Willis and members of the Owensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra. “We have programmed an evening of holiday music that will delight the entire audience. This is one of the area’s favorite holiday family events and I cannot wait to see everyone there!” said Music Director Troy Quinn.

Concert attendees are encouraged to join Troy Quinn in Cannon Hall from 6:15 to 6:40 p.m. for Behind the Music pre-concert conversation about the performance. New this year, Mitch Settle joins Troy on stage as the moderator. Behind the Music is designed to enhance the concert experience and provide insights into the music and music-makers performing on the program. Behind the Music with Troy Quinn is presented by Baird – The Settle Group.
