Troy Quinn and the Owensboro Symphony take the stage for the first time in 2024 with a musical tribute to composer Alan Menken. Menken is the mastermind behind the soundtracks of iconic Disney films such as A Little Mermaid, Pocahontas and Aladdin. His legendary compositions have defined a generation of Disney films and stage shows. The concert is Saturday, January 27 at 7 p.m. at RiverPark Center.
Lauren Jelencovich, the enchanting and dazzling vocalist, is back by popular demand. Her unforgettable performance at Concert on the Lawn in 2022 left an everlasting impression on the audience. Along with the ensemble, the Owensboro Symphony Chorus will join in the performance. This concert is for Disney fans of all ages.
Concert attendees are encouraged to join Troy Quinn in Cannon Hall from 6:15 to 6:40 p.m. for Behind the Music pre-concert conversation about the performance. Behind the Music is designed to enhance the concert experience and provide insights into the music and music-makers performing on the program.
