Owensboro, KY – Troy Quinn and the Owensboro Symphony will transform the stage at RiverPark Center on Saturday, March 2 into a sultry Arabian night with cinematic music from Lawrence of ArabiaExodus and Aladdin. The Symphony will take the audience on an adventure to far-off times and places through musical stories. The evening will conclude with riveting performance of Rimsky-Korsakov’s masterpiece Scheherazade depicting the ultimate storyteller’s journey and enticing tales to win her Persian king. 

“This music we are playing is about an incredible journey of love, excitement, and adventure,” said Troy Quinn, Music Director.  “It’s some of the most romantic music ever written and I can’t wait to be on the stage at RiverPark Center with our incredible 75 piece orchestra bringing this music to life.”

Concert attendees are encouraged to join Troy Quinn in Cannon Hall from 6:15 to 6:40 p.m. for Behind the Music pre-concert conversation about the performance. Behind the Music is designed to enhance the concert experience and provide insights into the music and music-makers performing on the program. Behind the Music with Troy Quinn is presented by Baird – The Settle Group.
