Owensboro, KY – Troy Quinn and the Owensboro Symphony conclude the 59th season with an out of this world performance on Saturday, April 19 at RiverPark Center. The program includes John Williams’ music from E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and Waxman’s A Place in the Sun Suite featuring saxophone legend, Kenneth Radnofsky. The season finale includes Holst’s The Planets and promises to launch the Owensboro Symphony into an exciting 60th Season. 

“Kenneth Radnofsky is a true saxophone legend,” said Troy Quinn, Music Director. “This season, we have been honored to host exceptionally talented guest artists from across the globe and to present some of the best music in the universe. With this epic finale, we are launching into a grand celebration for our 60th season!”

Concert attendees are encouraged to join Troy Quinn in Cannon Hall from 6:15 to 6:40 p.m. for Behind the Music pre-concert conversation about the performance. Behind the Music is designed to enhance the concert experience and provide insights into the music and music-makers performing on the program. Behind the Music with Troy Quinn is presented by Baird – The Settle Group.
