The Owensboro Symphony announces the 2025-2026 season consisting of a five concert subscription series beginning in October of this year, the subscription series is presented by Owensboro Health. The 60th season begins Troy Quinn’s ninth season with the Symphony and will highlight the breadth and versatility of the Orchestra’s musicians. Over the course of the season, the Symphony will perform concerts spanning celebrated works from the symphonic repertoire, the best of pop culture, Holiday favorites, Spanish heritage, tributes to legendary composers and more.

Two free community concerts will take place before the season begins. The first event is the annual Concert on the Lawn, presented by U.S. Bank, scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2025, on the lawn of Kentucky Wesleyan College. This will be followed by the sixth annual Symphony Stroll, sponsored by Jagoe Homes, on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Downtown Owensboro Riverfront in conjunction with Illuminate Owensboro.


The Owensboro Symphony pays tribute to the renowned American composer George Gershwin by presenting a mix of jazz and classical selections from popular pieces such as An American in Paris, Girl Crazy, and Rhapsody in Blue. Principal Pianist Diane Earle will take center stage, delivering a breathtaking performance on the piano.
