While it will be cold outside, the show will go on! Troy Quinn and your Owensboro Symphony take the stage for the first time in 2026 on Saturday, January 31 at 7 p.m. at RiverPark Center.
Music captures the diversity of Hispanic culture in a unique way. Come celebrate the influence of Latin American and Hispanic composers with your Owensboro Symphony. The concert will feature Grammy Award-winning classical guitarist Sharon Isbin, described by The Boston Globe as “one of the best guitarists in the world.”
The program features Chabrier’s lively España, Márquez’s popular Danzón No. 2, Rodrigo’s famous Concierto de Aranjuez, de Falla’s energetic Ritual Fire Dance from El amor brujo, Moncayo’s Huapango, music from Coco, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s colorful Capriccio espagnol.

Arrive early for Behind the Music, a free pre-concert talk with Troy Quinn in Cannon Hall from 6:15 to 6:40 p.m. Presented by Baird – The Settle Group, this session gives you a closer look at the evening’s music and the performers.
