Born in Hong Kong, Jaden Tong began his violin studies at the age of five, and completed several violin diplomas in violin performance, including the Fellowship of Trinity College London (FTCL) and Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) by the age of sixteen. In 2020, he received his bachelor’s degree majoring in violin performance with high distinction under the tutelage of Professor Kevork Mardirossian at Jacob’s School of Music, Indiana University where he was awarded the Premier Young Artist Award and the Friends Alan P Bell Scholarship. Jaden is currently continuing his studies and pursuing a Master’s Degree at IU under the tutelage of Professor Mardirossian and is awarded with the Artistic Excellence Award. During his studies, Jaden has attended music festivals in Canada, Bulgaria and Austria. He won championships in open competitions organized by the China Artist Association HKSAR Secretariat the Hong Kong Bauhinia Cup String Competition. In 2021, he joined and performed in the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra.
