Jordan Wright lives in Louisville, Kentucky, where he enjoys an active and vibrant career as a double bassist. A graduate of the University of Louisville with both a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music, he is a member of both the Owensboro Symphony and Huntsville Symphony Orchestra. Jordan has performed with ensembles throughout the region, including the Nashville Symphony, the Louisville Orchestra, and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, he has contributed to numerous recording projects for film, television, and video games.
In addition to his performance career, Jordan is a dedicated educator who has maintained a thriving private teaching studio and collaborated with public school programs to guide and mentor young double bassists, helping them achieve success at both local and national levels.
Beyond music, Jordan enjoys running, biking, video games, and working as a software developer on a wide variety of projects.
